Premier’s 10” (R-40) SIP (structural insulated panel) walls and 12” (r-50) SIP roof system add higher than code insulation values (R-40) which help reduce noise, thermal bridging, and works year-round to dramatically lower your energy costs.

You can’t control the climate….or can you? 

Mitsubishi’s FE12 Ductless Heat Pump (DHP) heats and cools the living space significantly more efficiently than any other heating system on the market. The variable speed inverters allow for better temperature control throughout the house and results in more comfort. This unit has three different filters to scrub the indoor air clean. There are no ducts used to deliver the heat/cooling so no old dust to collect and no heat loss through leaking ductwork.

You’ll thank us for every breath you take.

Are you affected by allergies, asthma or chemical sensitivities?  Adding a Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), filters and exchanges the indoor air 24/7 while also recovering the heat from the air being exhausted…resulting in unparalleled comfort and clean indoor air.

Velux solar hot water systems, installed by South Sound Solar are available for new and existing home applications and they qualify for a 30% federal tax credit. A solar water heater will reduce your water heating bills from 50% - 80%. Solar is completely pollution and CO2 free, does not produce harmful emissions and will help reduce your household energy consumption.

Who says only cars can be high performance and convertible? 

We have sealed , waterproofed and insulated the entire garage/basement slab with Premier’s rigid R-20 foam boards and R-40 flash and batt.  Now the home can evolve as your needs change giving you the option to easily convert the space into a usable living dwelling for multigenerational family use or as a rental. The foam insulation also reduces noise between floors.

Free confidence with every rain storm. 

In the Northwest climate, keeping moisture away from the structure is important in reducing mold, rot and decay. We’ve installed Mira Drain on all foundation walls which has 3 times the moisture flow capacity of aggregate or sand. No worries about a wet, leaking basement!

Air tight for your delight.

Fertilizer, gasoline, pesticides and car exhaust are just a few of the toxins we don’t want in our homes. Scott Homes uses Vicor products by Masco to completely seal the common walls between the garage and your home to ensure the indoor air quality stays clean and healthy for your family.

Harmful VOC’s?  No thank you.

We avoid when possible the use of any products that contain harmful VOC’s which have a negative impact on the indoor air quality of a home, and are harmful to the health of your family and the environment.

Since 35-50% of heating and cooling costs come from unwanted air infiltration, we seal the wall and floor seams of the house with butyl tape to seal against air and moisture infiltration.

For the homeowner who wants their home to stand out, we introduce the HardiePlank Design Collection.  A custom colonial look traditionally found in historic communities but with a modern 30 year warranty.

Solar Photovoltaics (PV, Solar Electric) is the most cost effective form of solar in Washington State and is made locally by Blue Frog Solar (inverters) and Itek Energy (panels). It's expandable, so you can add more as your budget allows. You'll receive 54 cents per kWh from the uitility for everything you produce, whether you use it or share it with your neighbors.
